Sassafras Flower Pendant Necklace
Ever captivating Sassafras flowers erupting in full bloom throughout the Alpine meadows and alongside the trail of the Overland Track in Tasmania, Australia, what a breathtaking sight! One that simply had to be captured and shared.
Once I’ve captured an image I head back to our studio in the Meander Valley, and my husband and I get to work on making the final product. We mount our designs behind a piece of domed glass to give them a magnifying effect, allowing the image to really “pop.” Then we craft each frame from sustainably sourced bamboo, carefully sanding each piece by hand to allow for a lovely smooth finish. The subtle patterns on the bamboo vary from piece to piece, making each one truly unique. Finally, the cord is made from waxed cotton and fitted with sliding knots to allow for adjustable wear.
The pinch bail is made from pre-made solid recycled argentium silver and is large enough for most metal chains to be threaded through if desired.

How should I care for my pendant necklace?
Regular cleaning with a silver cloth will keep the pinch bail nice and shiny.
While the image has been carefully sealed on the front and back and is water resistant, it is not waterproof. Please do not submerge it or wear it in the shower as we will not be able to guarantee its integrity.

Each purchase will arrive in a beautiful recycled cardboard gift box with a card detailing the materials, location of the photo design used, and where the jewellery was handcrafted.
